Equine Liability

This policy covers you if you become legally obligated to pay for a third party loss due to bodily injury or property damage arising out of your equine operations.  Homeowners with horses and those with boarding or training and instruction activities have a significant exposure to the injuries and property damage that horses can cause.  The day to day care for horses exposes those working directly with and bystanders to biting, kicking, being stepped on, or pushed.  Riders may fall and escaping horses can do damage vehicles and their passengers.  None of these exposures or their defenses are covered by traditional homeowners insurance.  So an equine liability policy is a must if you own horses.
